I’m Marlena Doerr, a graphic designer, educator, and artist wielding design as a tool for connection, access, and care. My practice spans analog and digital processes, from collage and hand lettering to Visual System Building, Editorial, and UI/UX. I’m in my second year pursuing an MFA in Graphic Design at MICA.

Five years teaching visual arts in Ithaca, NY, alongside years of mutual aid organizing, shaped my belief that design should serve people. I’m drawn to work that makes resources accessible, preserves stories, and instills trust.
